Scandinavian Modern 'Oxford' chair in charcoal grey upholstery with a low back on a cast aluminum five point base. Designed by Arne Jacobsen, made by Fritz Hansen, Denmark, 1965. Arne Jacobsen was a frontrunner in Danish design and architecture. Jacobsen is perhaps most well known for being the creator of the Egg™ and the Swan™ chairs, and the SAS Royal Hotel they were made for. Jacobsen was a nature-loving botanist who’s insistent, perfectionism was present in every detail of his design process.
