Great set of Kirkegaard-designed teak armchairs from the 1950s. Newly refinished with clean black leather seats. Sold as a set of 2.
Erik Kirkegaard is mostly known for his minimalistic chair designs. One of his more dominant and recognizable design features was the use of a frame in his dark stained teak chairs combined with glossy black leather upholstery and cow horn shaped armrests. Kirkegaard's model 49 chairs were made by Høng Stolefabrik in Denmark in the 1950’s and imported to the US by DUX in the 1960’s.
