Mies Van Der Rohe Mr20 Rattan Dining Chairs
Mies van der Rohe MR20 chrome and wicker lounge chairs, first time out of the original owners home since purchased in the 70s. These chairs are a version of the chair the Mies presented at the model housing exhibition in 1927. This cantilevered chair was originally made using leather but later was developed by Mies and Lilly Resche to produce a version with a wicker seat. This version was said to be Mies van der Rohe's favourite, which he used in his own house. The chair measures 31" H x 20"W x 28"D The arm height is 26.5", the seat height is 16"
