Born in 1961, Jourdan lives and works in Paris. Coming as he does from a family of architects, Eric Jourdan has a marked leaning towards classic modernist furniture.
He studied at both the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Saint Etienne; Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris and has been working in design since 1998 when Neotu have been producing his designs.
Some of his past projects include Fitting-out and furniture for Cartier New York, 1991, the Thomson project with Philippe Starck, 1993 and Exhibition at Galerie Gilles Peyroulet, 2000.
For many years the hallmarks of his design have been serenity and clarity, so too has his work for Ligne Roset.
